Nailsworth Dramatic Society formed in 1952 from an existing WI group. Its first production was a comedy – ‘Fiddlers’ Elbow’. For the last seven decades NDS have performed no less than two full-length plays each year as well as a variety of one act plays and cabaret evenings.
We have entered One-act plays and extracts of our full length plays into drama festivals across Gloucestershire with considerable success. With ‘Blue Remembered Hills’ winning six awards.
The arts are such an important part of Nailsworth and after seven decades it would be rude not to keep the lights on, the seats full and the atmosphere set! Interested in joining- check out our Membership page
